The Renovation of Springfield Park

“Aim for the Fences” is a joint effort between the BBSA, the Bloomingdale Park District and the Bloomingdale Parks Foundation to improve the quality of our baseball fields at Springfield Park.

During the inception of AFF, BBSA Board Member Frank Saverino Jr. volunteered to be the BBSA Representative. Frank Saverino Jr. also decided to become a Board Member with the Bloomingdale Parks Foundation. Being seated on both Boards, Frank is able to efficiently communicate with each Board and relay information quickly. Having Frank hold a position on the Parks Foundation has also strengthened the relationship between all of the three parties involved.
