The 2012 Board of Governors

Ron Olson is the BBSA's President. This is Ron's fourth season on the Board. He has coached and/or managed for the past eleven seasons. He has three children in the program. As President, Ron's primary responsibility is to oversee all BBSA operations and be the liaison with the Bloomingdale Park District.

Dominick Gattuso is our Treasurer and 1st Vice President. This is Dominick's fourth season on the Board as Treasurer. He has coached and/or managed for the past seven seasons. He has three children in the program. As Treasurer, Dominick's primary responsibility is to manage the daily financial transactions of the BBSA.

Frank Saverino Jr., is our Fields Supervisor and 2nd Vice President. This is Frank's fourth season on the Board. He has coached and/or managed for the past six seasons. He has two children in the program. As Fields Supervisor, Frank's primary responsibility is to oversee field conditions and field equipment.

Bill Melchiorre is our Girls Player Agent and 3rd Vice President. This is Bill's fourth season on the Board. He has coached and/or managed for the past five seasons. He has two children in the program. As Travel Coordinator Bill's primary responsibility is to oversee operations with the All-Star and travel teams.

Jim Burton is our Umpire Coordinator and 4th Vice President. This is Jim's third season on the Board. He has one child in the program. He has coached and/or managed for the last eleven seasons. As Umpire Coordinator, Jim's primary responsibility is to oversee all of the activities concerning our umpires.

Paul Tarman is our Sponsorship Coordinator. This is Paul's second season on the Board. He has coached and/or managed for the past twelve seasons. He has one child in the program. As Sponsorship Coordinator, Paul's primary responsibility is to procure league sponsors.

Bob Rawski is our Uniform and Awards Director. This is Bob's second season on the Board. He has coached and/or managed for the past six seasons. He has one child in the program. Bob's responsibilities include procuring in-house uniforms, equipment and awards.

Mike Ernsting is our Older Boys Player Agent. This is Mike's first season on the Board. He has coached and/or managed for the past five seasons. He has one child in the program. As Older Boys Player Agent, Mike's primary responsibility is to oversee the in-house teams of boys from eleven through eighteen years of age.

Janet Sickler is our Girls Player Agent. This is Janet's first season on the Board. She has coached and/or managed for the past three seasons. She has two children in the program. As Girls Player Agent, Janet's primary responsibility is to oversee the girls softball division from ages seven to eighteen years of age.

Vince Ackerman is our Instructional Player Agent. This is Vince's first season on the Board. He has coached and/or managed for the past two seasons. He has two children in the program. As Instructional Player Agent, Vince's primary responsibility is to oversee the in-house teams of five and six year old boys and girls.

Justin Gaffney is our Younger Boys Player Agent. This is Justin's first season on the Board as the Younger Boys Player Agent. He has been in the BBSA for 3 years and has 2 children in the program. As Younger Boys Player Agent, Justin's primary responsibility is to oversee the in-house teams of boys from seven through ten years of age.
